About Oggy Oggy
The Oggy Oggy Business concept originated in a shop in St Ives in Cornwall 16 years ago and has evolved and grown throughout the country baking and selling the finest Cornish pasties and bakery products.
In 2003 a retail franchise operation was established which grew rapidly across the country in partnership with Crantock Bakery – one of Cornwall’s largest pasty manufacturers. By 2006 the mobile van franchise operation was added to the business model, which has proven itself commercially successful. Today 26 vans are in operation with more coming on line during 2008.
The simplicity of the business model, the low cost of establishment, a superb product range based on freshly baked pasties and other savoury lines, together with the support that the Oggy Oggy management team are able to provide, creates an ideal franchise business opportunity.
The concept can be used as a ‘Bolt On’ to an established bakery shop where all the equipment, ovens etc are already available. It is equally appropriate as a ‘Stand Alone’ business operating from an industrial unit. Here the investment will support a ‘Multi Van Operation’. We already have franchisees planning for 6 van operations and a number operating 3 vans very profitably.
