The Oggy Oggy business concept originated in Cornwall in the early 1990’s baking and selling the finest Cornish pasties and bakery products.
In 2003 a retail franchise business was established which grew across the country. The retail model was then expanded with the development of the van sales concept. Van sales were so successful that a van only model was conceived and this now represents a business in its own right. The required investment level is much lower and start up time is reduced.
Today there are over 20 vans operating but there are still many prime exclusive territories available. An Oggy Oggy Van Franchise gives you a unique trading advantage over competitors with premium quality freshly-baked products.
The simplicity of the business model, the low cost of establishment, a superb product range based on freshly-baked pasties and other savoury lines, together with the support that the Oggy Oggy management team are able to provide, creates an ideal franchise business opportunity.
The concept is a ‘Stand Alone’ business operating from an industrial unit. The investment is designed to support a ‘Multi Van Operation’. We already have franchisees planning for a six van operation and a number operating three or more vans very profitably. An Oggy Oggy van is equally appropriate as a ‘Bolt On’ to an established bakery shop where all the equipment, ovens etc are already available. A van can substantially increase turn over with little increase to the fixed costs of the bakery shop.
